Dambuster Weekend! The weekend of the 13-14th May 2006 was a great honour for Mason Arts. We have had the great pleasure, and indeed honour, to create a painting of a famous Lincolnshire Hotel, “The Petwood” for a wonderful gentleman who was significant in WWII, and stayed at the Petwood during the war. He was with the world renowned 617 Squadron “The Dambusters”.
We travelled down to the Petwood Hotel, in Woodhall Spa, Lincs. for the Dams Raid Memorial weekend and presented this painting to the gentleman during this time.
The Hotel is very pleased to be involved, and therefore, we have commissioned a very select amount of Limited Edition Prints of this Painting (50 copies only), which will be artist signed. There will be a title in the bottom border stating ‘The Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. By Natalie Mason. Home of 617 Sqdn. “The Dambusters” ’.
The Hotel will be selling these special prints from the Hotel itself, and a small amount will be for sale through our website.
